About Dr. Seale
Dr. Arthur C. Seale is a veterinarian with 42 years of continuous experience in small animal health and surgery. He has been licensed in Louisiana (#1185) since 1979 and is a member of the American, Louisiana, and Northwest Louisiana Veterinary Medical Associations.
A 1979 graduate of LSU’s School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Seale worked for 6 years before opening his own practice, Broadmoor Animal Hospital, in Shreveport. For 42 years he has devoted himself to small animal medicine .
A native of Alexandria and a graduate of Bolton High Schoo, he attended Rhodes College and graduated from Louisiana Tech with a B.S. in Business Administration. After 4 years in the U.S. Air Force as a navigator on B52’s, Lieutenant Seale chose veterinary medicine as a career. From a pool of hundreds of applicants from all over the country, he was among 48 students admitted to the third class at LSU’s School of Veterinary Medicine.
Additionally, he was one of the original founders of the Animal Emergency Clinic in Shreveport. He served on that organization’s board of directors in various capacities until that clinic was sold in 2008. He has also served the LSU Vet School as an advisor to their admissions board, and has served the local association in several offices, including president.
In 2019, he sold his very popular practice in Shreveport, where he was voted the Best Veterinarian 2014. He continue to work there for 2 years. He is now doing relief work around the entire State. In order to offer clients and their pets the very best of medical treatments, Dr. Seale combines many years of experience with extensive training and continuing education in the most modern techniques in small animal medicine. Not only will clients and pets benefit from years of experience, but also the newest in proven current practices. He is outgoing, friendly, and relates well to others.
Dr. Seale and his wife, Ginger, live on Lake Concordia, Ferriday, Louisiana. His hobbies include training Labrador Retrievers, fishing and sailing. He is a member of the Shreveport Yacht Club and the Bayou DeSiard Country Club in Monroe.
